2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI Topeka KS
While the whole of the Volkswagen Golf family represents a practical and uniquely-styled class of attractive hatchbacks, there are some models that burn to the head of the pack. We think that the 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI is one such vehicle. With an anticipated launch later this year, the 2018 incarnation of the original hot hatch rides into the model year with a few changes and a whole lot of carried-over attractiveness. While we believe that passenger and cargo space will remain the same (clocking in at five passengers and up to 22.8 cubic feet of cargo behind the rear seats), there are definite new features coming down.
Drivers can expect to see new LED lighting throughout the 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI, starting with the addition of LED taillights and running lights on the S trim, and full LED headlights on the SE model and above. Other attractive enhancements include an available stop-start fuel-saving feature, an optional sunroof and standard new eight-inch infotainment display on the SE trim, as well as blind-spot monitoring, rear traffic alerts and front pedestrian monitoring. The elite Autobahn trim will have a new eight-inch touchscreen control system for its Discover Media navigation system, and its Driver Assistance package will add several features, including the ParkPilot autonomous parking system.

Some attractive new performance features available on select models include performance brakes, an electronically-controlled limited slip differential with torque sensing, and DCC suspension control.
